Gautham Menon reveals what he will never do in his films

Director Gautham Menon is as eagerly waiting for the release of his Yennai Arindhaal as any of Ajith’s ardent fans. The film is much anticipated and has done good business in terms of distribution as well as opening day bookings.

Gautham is known for his films that respect women and he also deals very finely the emotional bond between father and son.

In an interview he reveals that there are a few things which he would never do in his movies like for instance, his women characters. He says, “even if I am writing the character of a woman who is a bad person, I would never expose it to the audience.” And secondly he confesses that he would never portray fathers as bad or villains. He adds, “I just couldn’t take it when the father in Maattraan was made the villain. I couldn’t stand it.”
