Gift song from Kootathil Oruthan on 20th June

Kootathil Oruthan is an upcoming film directed by debutant TN Gnanavel which features Ashok Selvan and Priya Anand in the lead. Nivas K Prasanna has scored music for this film.

There is a song in the music album of the film, 'Maatram Ondre Maradhadhu'. A promo video of this song (Gift song) has been shot recently with many leading K-town celebrities including Sivakumar, Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Sivakarthikeyan, Nasser, Prakash Raj, Arya, Samuthirakani, Vishnu Vishal, RJ Balaji, Remya Nambeesan, director Lingusamy and others. The video song will not be in the theatrical version.

Talking about the song, directed Gnanavel says, "The main specialty of this Gift song is its lyrics, which have been written to motivate the youngsters. We got appreciations from many people while filming this song. Like how Kolaveri song trended among youngsters, this Gift song will also be celebrated.
