Girish Gangadharan as DoP for Vijay's next film with AR Murugadoss

While Vijay’s latest release Mersal is making merry at the box office, it is also attracting all the controversies. But hero Vijay is getting geared up for his next film. This will be directed by AR Murugadoss who had worked with him earlier in Thuppaakki and Kaththi.

The DoP of the film which is Vijay’s 62nd one has been firmed up. Girish Gangadharan has been announced as the cinematographer who would be responsible to bring out the vision of the director. Girish has worked in films like Solo, Angamaly Diaries and Kali. His recent work in Solo was praised unanimously by the critics.

The as yet untitled film is expected to go on floors from January 2018 and is said to be an emotionally driven story with a social message. Anirudh Ravichander, who had collaborated with AR Murugadoss and Vijay in Kaththi, will once again score tunes for this film too. Rakul Preet Singh who acted in Spyder is rumoured to join hands with the Akira director yet again. An official announcement regarding the cast and crew of the film is expected to be out in the coming days.
