Gopi Nainar to direct GV Prakash

Director Gopi Nainar’s debut feature film was Aramm starring Nayanthara that had earned him a lot of respect as a director. His second directorial would have GV Prakash as the hero.

Prakash has a changed image now, with the release of Bala’s Naachiyaar where he had portrayed the role of a fruit vendor Kathavarayan to perfection.

The project with Gopi Nainar and Prakash would be about football and be based in North Chennai. It is also reportedly about the politics surrounding sports in India. Shooting of this film will begin once Gopi is done with his film with Siddharth which is likely to happen around June. On the other hand, GV Prakash has many films which are in various stages of production such as Sema, 4G, Ayngaran, Adangadhey, Kupathu Raja, 100% Kaadhal and Sarvam Thaala Mayam.
