GV Prakash sings for Vijay's Mersal

Music composer GV Prakash, who is acting in many movies these days, is also a good singer, having lent his voice for many songs. He is also a huge fan of Thalapathy Vijay.

He took to his social media page to say that he has sung a song in Vijay’s Mersal which got christened recently. Prakash tweeted, “Happy to announce that I have sung an energetic number in Mersal for my fav arrahman sir music and actorvijay na ... EidMubarak ... after 1999 mudhalvan am singing for my uncle”. Incidentally, Prakash’s uncle AR Rahman has composed music for Mersal.

Mersal is directed by Atlee that features Samantha, Nithya Menen, Kajal Aggarwal, SJ Suryah and others. The film had released its first look posters recently which were widely appreciated by the people. The audio will be launched in August and the movie would be a Diwali release.
