Hakim Rawther passes away

Actor and director Hakim Rawther died yesterday at Kottayam Medical College Hospital. Hakim was a famous mimicry artist and had also directed a movie The Guard starring a single actor, Kalabhavan Mani.

He made his film debut with the movie Johnnie Walker under Jayaraj’s direction. He had acted in several movies in different characters and some of the movies include Vettam, Kazcha and Nayika.

Hakim Rawther was 58 years and was admitted to hospital a week ago. He is survived by Devi Menon, a Ghazal a singer.
