Actor Mammootty is turning 62 today. Born in a middle-class family, Mammootty started his film career in the year 1971 by acting in a movie titled Anubhavangal Palichakal, which was a box office failure. He has acted in about 350 movies so far and has acted in all the south Indian language films. His latest release was Kunjananthante Kada and it is running successfully. Some of his upcoming films include Deivathinte Swantham Cleetus, Balyakala Sakhi, The Gangster and the Black Investigators. His son Dulquer Salmaan is also one of the young stars in Malayalam cinema.
