Happy birthday Mani Ratnam and Ilayaraja

It would not be an understatement to say that Ilayaraja and Mani Ratnam occupy very important position in Tamil cinema. The two legends celebrate their birthdays today, the 2nd June and they have worked in many films together to give out that magical experience to their audiences.

While Mani Ratnam’s last film was Kaatru Veliyidai which did not do good business, he has started the work for his next film which according to talks will feature Aishwarya Rai and Ram Charan. Meanwhile, Ilayaraja is busy with a lot of projects and the latest one was Enga Amma Rani starring Dhansika.

Ilayaraja is celebrating his 74th birthday and Mani Ratnam, his 62nd. We wish the legends a very happy birthday. May they continue to entertain their audiences with their skillful craft.
