Happy Birthday Vijay

Ilayathalapathy Vijay as he is fondly called by his fans all over the globe, celebrates his 42nd birthday today, the 22nd June. Having started his career as a child artist, Vijay made his first entry into Tamil as a hero through Naalaya Theerppu in 1992 under his father S A Chandrasekar’s direction.

Since then he had worked in 59 films and is right now busy with his 60th film being directed by Bharathan. He has given a lot of entertainers in his career that include Ghilli, Dhool, Thirumalai, Nanban, Thuppaaki, Kaththi and the latest Theri to name some. He has worked with many new directors and also established ones .

On this birthday, Vijay continues to work, busy at the sets of Vijay 60. His fan clubs throughout the state have organized social welfare activities like blood donations, anna dhanam etc in his name.
