Harish Uthaman and Ilavarasu on working in Mayanadhi

‘Mayanadhi’ starring Tovino Thomas and Aishwarya Lakshmi is directed by Aashiq Abu. This Christmas release is receiving highly positive reviews from the audience.

Actor Harish Uthaman who has played a very important role in the movie said, “This is my 28th movie. I am very happy with the huge recognition I have got from this movie. I wish movies like this should come more in Tamil. Tovino Thomas has done a fabulous job in the movie. I had only one combination scene with Aishwarya Lakshmi. She is very lucky to get such a brilliant movie. People have seen me as a villain in Telugu movies, but this character is very fresh for audience and me too”.

Actor Ilavarasu said, “Malayalam cinema and Tamil cinema are similar to each other. I was very happy when I was offered a role in this movie. They narrated the story and started the shooting very soon in Madurai. I didn’t have the feeling that I am doing non Tamil movie. Aashiq Abu is a very bold director. Live recording in this movie was a new experience for me. Though I have been doing many movies for my survival, only very few movies have given me the satisfaction, ‘Mayanadhi’ is one such movie”.
