Heroines finalized for Naadodigal 2

We had reported a couple of days ago that Naadodigal 2 is going to be made with Samuthirakani directing and Sasikumar playing the lead. Now the team has announced the heroines for the film. They would be Anjali and Athulya Ravi. Samuthirakani says, “Both Anjali and Sasikumar have such strong roles that either of the two could be contenders for the National Award."

The film will not be a sequel to the first film. It is reported that this one will have the flavour of Naadodigal, but is a completely different story. Samuthirakani is currently busy with the script work of the film. Like the first film, this one is also set in a town, and will talk about love and friendship. It will also touch upon the issue of caste.

The other supporting cast included Bharani and Namo Narayanan, who were part of the first film. Athulya Ravi will be seen in a crucial role, but she isn't paired opposite Bharani. Justin Prabhakaran will be composing the music while NK Ekambaram will be handling the cinematography. The film will go on floors by March. Click the Movie button below for more info:
