Huma Qureshi to romance superstar Rajinikanth

Looks like 2017 is proving to be a very good year for the ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ firecracker — Huma Qureshi. First, we saw her in the critically acclaimed ‘Jolly LLB2’, now she is ready with her second film of the year, a supernatural psychological horror film — ‘Dobaara: See Your Evil’ and now we hear that Huma has been roped in for a film opposite superstar Rajinikanth.

Yeah, it has been confirmed that Huma Qureshi will romance Rajinikanth in a yet-to-be titled film. The film will be produced by actor Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush under his home production, Wunderbar Films.

A source close to the development of the film said, “The makers were looking for someone with a strong screen presence as it's a performance oriented role. Huma will play Rajinikanth's love interest. She is really excited. They start shooting in Mumbai from May 28 and Huma will start prep soon.”

This film will mark Huma’s debut in Tamil films and will be directed by PA. Ranjith.
