I am not working in Vasantha Kumaran, Vijay Sethupathy confirms

Vijay Sethupathy is very busy with many projects in his kitty and is quite a busy man. But recently, producer Suresh from Studio 9 had leveled charges against the Soodhu Kavvum hero that he has refused working in his film Vasantha Kumaran.

Things took a serious turn when the actor issued a press statement after seeing ads in a Tamil daily that claimed to have Vijay Sethupathy in the film Vasantha Kumaran. As per the statement Vijay had indeed agreed to work in the film but after a while, he withdrew from the project not liking the activities of the producer. But he had also agreed to return the advance money of nine lakhs with interest to the producer. Vijay Sethupathy had reported the matter to Nadigar Sangam Sarathkumar. Meanwhile he also says that he was being harassed by mysterious threatening calls.

Through his statement, Vijay Sethupathy had clarified that he is not working in Vasantha Kumaran and that he would take the help of police if the producer harasses him further.
