Srinivas Avasarala enjoy storytelling more than acting:
Jun 18, 2014 NRActor Srinivas Avasarala is all set to begin his new innings as director with his Oohalu Gusagusalade. The actor reveals about his passion for writing and storytelling and says he enjoys the storytelling process more than acting.
"I always wanted to be a director but accidentally became an actor. I enjoy storytelling more than acting. In fact I even worked as ghost writer for two films. I wanted to control the whole storytelling process. So when I finally found a producer, I decided to become a director," Srinivas told.
Avasarala also says that a director and an actor have their own ways of entertaining audience. But it is as a writer-director you're more responsible because everything on the screen is yours.
Starring newcomers Naga Shourya and Raashi Khanna, "Oohalu Gusagusalade", which releases Friday, is "based on French play Cyrrano De Bergerac".
