I wanted the title Pitchaikkaran- Vijay Antony

Vijay Antony the man popular for his choice of scripts and movie titles, has chosen an interesting and curious name for his next film titled Pitchaikkaran. Answering to curious queries on the choice of the title the soft spoken Vijay Antony opens out with a loud clarity.

“Each and every single soul had been a beggar at some part of their life, it need not be money always. It can be in any form or kind and this is the line of our film. I had worked with Sasi sir for Dishyum, he has always impressed me with his choice of script, right from Sollamale, Roja Kootam, Dishyum, Poo and 555, each was different from the other. The inclination to work with him was always there”.

About the title, Vijay says that it was him who was particular in the title Pitchaikkaran, but Sasi felt that it will leave a negative shade, but Vijay convinced him.
