'I will always be loyal to Simbu', Santhanam

Comedian Santhanam, who was recently in the news for all the wrong reasons associated with a tussle with a builder, met the press for the trailer launch of his upcoming film Sakka Podu Podu Raja.

The film is directed by Sethuraman and has Vaibhavi Shandilya as the heroine. Santhanam reportedly plays a character who tries to help his friend get his love. The story is rumored about how the heroine ends up falling in love with him.

Simbu has scored the music for the film and at the trailer launch, Santhanam was all praise of the Vallavan actor. He said, “I am very very thankful to Simbu. Whatever people might say about him, he's my godfather. He has always supported me and believed in my talent. I will always stay loyal to him. I got my big break in Tamil cinema through his Manmadhan. In Sakka Podu Podu Raja, Simbu completed all the songs in a month. They have come out really well, and the team has already shot three songs in Georgia."
