I would direct a film next year: Randhir Kapoor

Veteran actor and film-maker Randhir Kapoor has plans to direct a film next year, and he also wants to revive the family banner R.K Studio in days to come.


"Direction is on my mind and I would direct a film next year. I don't want to reveal anything in advance", the 67-year-old, who had earlier directed films including "Henna", "Dharam Karam" and "Kal Aaj Aur Kal", told reporters in a group interview.


The veteran actor wants to make great films through his family's famous banner R.K Studio in days to come.


The banner has produced some of the classic films of all time like Awaara (1951), Shri 420 (1955), Sangam (1964), Mera Naam Joker (1970), Bobby (1973), Satyam Shivam Sundaram (1978), Ram Teri Ganga Maili (1985).


"We have to grow by making great films from this studio but I am extremely sorry that for last few years we have not been making films. I assure that you we will provide you will some great films in future", said the film-maker.
