Ilayaraja hospitalized

Music composer Ilayaraja was hospitalized on Friday the 14th August after he complained of discomfort post the press-meet on that day regarding the commencement of his official website.

The maestro was admitted in Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. There are various types of rumors spreading about his health conditions.

But Raja’s elder son Karthik Raja refuted all of them and said that his father had indeed complained of uneasiness after the press-meet on Friday and to give him the necessary medical attention, he was admitted in the hospital. The doctors are said to perform various tests and ascertain the root cause of the problem and in all probability he will be discharged soon. It can be recalled that in 2013, the maestro had suffered cardiac attack following which he was advised complete bed rest for a while. Here is wishing Ilayaraja, a speedy recovery.
