I'm sad no one offered me musical roles: Annu Kapoor

Annu Kapoor is a name that has become synonymous with the musical game show "Antakshari". The National Award winning actor "feels sad" not being offered roles that involve music.

"I will always feel sad for not doing a role which encompasses music, like a music teacher", Annu laments.

"All the musical roles in Bollywood are given to people who don't even know the ABCD of music", added the actor, who also hosts a musical show on radio.

He attributes the connection to music to his mother.

"All my knowledge about music comes from my mother. My mother was a good singer and was well versed with classical music. Hence, I got to know about the nuances of music by listening to her", the 58-year-old actor said.
