Irrfan Khan wants to redefine himself

Irrfan Khan, who is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Hindi Medium’, may have carved a niche for himself not only in the Bollywood industry but also on international shores, however, the talented actor now wants to redefine himself.

Irrfan strongly believes that one needs to constantly innovate themselves in order to stay alive and passionate about their craft. He recently said during a media interaction, “If you are unable to innovate, then you are as good as dead. I'm here to redefine things and whatever I'll be called, I will redefine it.”

The actor, who is also set to leave for Hollywood next month for his next project ‘Puzzle,’ further added, “Cinema is changing and its audience is getting mature. If you can present content driven film then audience always gives result to the film. But now I feel that Hindi cinema needs to raise its standard because from one side, good Hollywood films are dividing business of Hindi cinema and from other side, regional films are getting better.”

Irrfan’s Hindi Medium is all set to release on May 19. Directed by Saket Choudhary, the film also stars Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, Deepak Dobriyal and Amrita Singh in pivotal roles.
