Irrfan Khan willing to donate organ to Vinod Khanna

A photo of veteran actor Vinod Khanna, from a hospital and looking debilitated, went viral today morning, sparking off rumors that the actor is suffering for bladder cancer. Later in the day, hospital’s official spokesperson sent out a statement clarifying that Khanna was admitted owing to severe dehydration.

However, looking at the frail picture of Vinod Khanna was indeed heart-breaking. Even Irrfan Khan, who was launching the trailer of his next film ‘Hindi Medium’ today, was extremely shocked and saddened to see Vinod Khanna in that state.

“My good wishes and prayers with him. I hope he gets well soon,” said Irrfan at the trailer launch. Not only this, Irrfan even went ahead one step and offered to donate one of his organs if needed. He added, “If needed, I’ll donate one of my organs to him. I think he is the most beautiful person in the entire industry. I saw his photo today and I was shocked. I pray to God for his good health.”

While Vinod Khanna’s son Rahul Khanna has confirmed that the star is recovering, we still don’t know when he will get discharged from the hospital.
