It's a wrap for Nadigayar Thilagam

Nadigayar Thilakam/Mahanati is the biopic of actress Savitri that is being made in Tamil and Telugu. Keerthy Suresh plays the titular role with Dulquer Salmaan essaying Gemini Ganesan's role. The film has an ensemble cast of Samantha, Vijay Devarakonda, Anushka, Naga Chaitanya, Shalini Reddy and others. Naag Ashwin directs the film.

The shooting of this much expected film is complete. And heroine Keerthy Suresh took to her social media page to share a picture of her paying her respects to the veteran actress with her words which read, “An incredible journey of over an year, gets completed today. I feel emotionally taken aback. Big thanks to #NagAshwin & Vyjayanthi Movies for their trust in me. We all have something proud to look back. Can’t wait to get her at the theatres #MahanatiOnMay9th Nadigaiyar Thilagam”.

The film produced by Vyjayanthi movies is slated for a 9th May release.
