Its celebration time for Anushka

Anushka Shetty born as Sweety Shetty celebrates her birthday today sharing her important day with the legendary Kamal Haasan.

A yoga teacher who was spotted by a Telugu producer, Anushka’s first movie was in Telugu called Super in 2005 which was followed by Vikramarkudu, Arundhati, Vedam to name some. She burst into Tamil screen in 2005 with Madhavan in Rendu. Her memorable films in Tamil include Deiva Thirumagal, Singam, Vaanam, Thandavam etc.

Currently she is involved in major projects like Rudramadevi and Bahubali in Telugu and in Tamil with Superstar Rajini in Lingaa and with Ajith in Yennai Arindhaal. She has quite a few Filmfare Awards and nominations to her credit. She has also won the Kalaimamani Award from Tamil Nadu government and was featured among the top 5 most desirable women category.
