It's official: Yuvan Shankar Raja for Maari 2

Maari, the 2015 film directed by Balaji Mohan had Dhanush and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead. The film’s key plus point was its music scored by Anirudh Ravichander.

When the sequel of this film was announced, people were curious to know its music director, as Dhanush had stopped collaborating with Anirudh for his films recently. Talks were that Yuvan Shankar Raja would be the person in charge of music. Now the unit has made it official about this.

Director Balaji Mohan took to Twitter to inform, “Privileged to be working with one of my all time favourite music directors! Happy to officially announce that @thisisysr sir is on board for #Maari2 & music work has started!@dhanushkraja sir &#Yuvan sir combo back after 10 years!”. Maari 2 will have Sai Pallavi as the lady lead and Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas making his debut into Kollywood as a baddie. Click the Movie button below for more info:
