Jagapathi Babu in Rajinikanth's Lingaa

After successfully starting his second innings with Nandamuri Balakrishna's Legend, Jagapathi Babu is a hot property now for the negative roles. The actor who is already busy with a bunch of projects, the actor is now selected for a crucial role in Rajinikanth's Lingaa. This is the second time they are teaming up with each other after their Kathanayakudu movie.

KS Ravi Kumar is the director.Reports say the superstar plays a Royal King who returns to rule his kingdom after getting an education abroad and later Rajini will be also seen as his grandson. Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha will be seen beside the older Rajini and Anushka Shetty will romance the younger one in the film. Lingaa will mark the Southern debut of Sonakshi Sinha while this will be the first film for Anushka with Rajinikanth.
