Jennifer Lawrence thronged by mob of fans while promoting 'The Hunger Games'

Actress Jennifer Lawrence ran away from a signing session in New York City after fans knocked down a barricade in front of her.

“The Hunger Games” star stopped to greet fans and sign autographs outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York following her appearance on “The Late Show with David Letterman” Wednesday night.

However, her appearance at the event was cut short after a barrier fell down under pressure from fans, prompting Lawrence's security guards to whisk the actress away.
