Jiiva's take on his next film Thirunaal

Thirunaal, the upcoming film of Jiiva is directed by Sai Ramnath features the actor along with Nayanthara. This film is out and out shot in tier two towns such as Kumbakonam and the surrounding areas. Currently the post production is going on for this film whose audio was launched recently.

Talking at the music launch function, Jiiva says, “People wonder why I have not been doing films that has local content. One such local film is, Thirunaal. This film will cater to the regional audience, and I have worked hard to fit into the skin of the character.

In most of the scenes I would appear with a blade in my mouth, and it was quite challenging. You will also see me in Veshti throughout the film. I am working with Nayanthara after nine years. When we first approached her, she was busy with other commitments. Meanwhile, we looked for other heroines. But we felt that Nayan would be apt for the role and finally she agreed to join us.
