Jyothika, no longer a part of Vijay 61

Vijay 61 under the direction of Atlee began shooting yesterday. The film has Vijay as the hero with Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Jyothika on board. But now, it looks like Jyothika will not be a part of this film.

Jyothika had appeared with Vijay in hit films such as Kushi and Thirumalai. Post her marriage and motherhood, she was not seen in silver screen for a while but she made a comeback in 36 Vayadhinile directed by Roshan Andrews. Currently she is awaiting the release of Bramma’s Magalir Mattum.

Reports suggest that there were creative differences between Jyothika and Atlee and that she wanted a change in her character which Atlee was not willing to. Official confirmation on this is awaited but inside sources say that talks are on with Anushka and Nayanthara to do the role in the film. Click the Movie button below for more info:
