K Balachander is critical

Legendary director K Balachander is critically ill and is admitted in Cauvery hospital in Chennai. The legend is 85 years old and is hospitalized for age related issues.

As soon as the news on his ill health stared coming in, rumor mongers were at their peak and social networks had status messages about the veteran’s demise which was totally in a bad taste. The hospital authorities had issued a statement that said that the director is admitted in their hospital for certain age related ailments and is being treated for the same. It also said he was stable and necessary treatments are being given.

Superstar Rajinikanth as soon as he heard about K B’s condition, rushed immediately to the hospital to see his mentor. Later he spoke to the media saying that KB looked at him and smiled and is being treated for his ailments. Many celebrities like Kushboo, Mohan Ram, Mano Bala and Pyramid Natarajan visited him and Kamal Haasan sent his wishes through a video clipping.
