Kaala to release before 2.0?

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by his son-in-law Dhanush for Wunderbar Films, has been completed long ago and post production work had been going on. The release of this film was mainly based on Rajini’s other film 2.0 directed by Shankar.

Now that 2.0 is getting postponed with no proper release date announced, looks like Kaala will hit the screens first. Rumours are rife that 2.0 release which was scheduled for April12 Tamil New Year weekend, has been postponed once again. The delay is being caused by massive computer graphics involved in the production. Sources say that the release has been pushed to August now.

Meeting the press at his Poes Garden residence yesterday, the 8th February, Rajini said he wasn’t sure which film would win the race to the screen. While revealing the reason for the delay of 2.O, he said, “Computer Graphics work is going on for 2.O.
