Kaatru Veliyidai is the title of Mani Ratnam's film

When it comes to Mani Ratnam’s films, the excitement and the buzz are always on the high. The ace directors’ next will have Karthi as the lead and the hero is reported to be playing the role of a pilot in the film. Aditi Rao Hydari, Bollywood actress is making her debut in Tamil. Sai Pallavi was said to be the heroine but later she was replaced by Aditi. RJ Balaji has also been roped in to the film.

The latest information on this project is it has been titled as Kaatru Veliyidai. The unit is all set to begin the shoot in Ooty from July 8th and the schedule will last for round forty days.

Oscar winner A R Rahman will be composing tunes for the film which will have Ravi Varman as the DoP with Vairamuthu as the lyricist. Kaatru Veliyidai will be produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and distributed by Sri Thenandal Films. Click the Movie button below for more info:
