Kajal Agarwal roped in for Thala 57

Thala 57 or AK 57 as it is being called right now will be directed by Siva who had worked with Ajith in his earlier films Veeram and Vedalam. The film to be bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi films began last week with a poojai.

Cast and crew of the film are slowly getting finalized. Kajal Agarwal has been brought on board this film as the romancing partner for Ajith. Although Kajal has been paired with Vijay, Arya, Suriya, Jiiva and Dhanush in her earlier films, this is the first time she will be paired opposite Ajith.

Comedian and character artist Thambi Ramaiah has also signed on the dotted line. The film will be shot in overseas locales and Anirudh will be composing the music. Vetri will be handling camera. Click the Movie button below for more info:
