Kalavaani 2 to feature Vemal

Vemal, who is known for his rural flicks was last seen in Maappillai Singam in 2016 and is currently working in Mannar Vagera directed by Boopathy Pandian. This is the maiden production venture of Vemal under the banner A3V Cinemas.

He recently celebrated his birthday and announced his next two projects. He would be teaming up with director Vasanthamani of Sasikumar starrer 'Vetrivel' fame for his next. This film will have Samuthirakani in a crucial role and Imman will be scoring music.

After this film, he would collaborate with director Sarkunam for the sequel of the hit film Kalavaani. Kalavaani was definitely a visiting card for Vemal, Oviya, Soori, Ganja Karuppu, and director Sarkunam, and this sequel might be an interesting film to watch out for. Apart from Vemal, Soori and Ganja Karuppu have been retained for the second part, as well. This film is expected to begin after Sarkunam finishes his project with Madhavan.
