'Kalki 2898 AD' shoot resumes

The shooting for the sci-fi film 'Kalki 2898 AD', which was earlier titled ‘Project K,’ has resumed at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The Rs 600-crore budget film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone among others.

A picture from the shoot was uploaded on the official Instagram page for the film. It had a sticker that says "shooting time" pasted on the image.

The Hyderabad schedule will continue till August 28. The futuristic sci-fi movie is directed by Nag Ashwin. Actress Disha Patani also features in the movie.

The film was announced under the working title 'Project K' in February 2020 coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Vyjayanthi Movies, the production house behind the flick. However, the production was delayed by a year due to the Covid-19.
