Kamal clarifies on Marudhanayagam

Marudhanayagam is Kamal Haasan’s dream project which he began in 1997 but is not able to proceed further due to paucity of funds. Recently in his official YouTube link, he had also mentioned about another project called Vaamaargam.

There was confusion among public that whether Marudhanayagam is Vaamaargam. Clarifying this Kamal says both are different. Marudhanayagam is somebody real and it is his story that will be made into a film. But Vaamaargam is a story from his imagination.

Kamal also divulged information that one of his friends will be funding Marudhanayagam but he would not inform the name for now. The ambitious historical project will be made in three languages Tamil, French and English. On the other hand, three of his films will see the light this year.
