Kamal Haasan and Shruti to team for Amma Appa Vilayaattu

Kamal Haasan after his last film Thoongavanam was speculated to feature in many films. But the veteran chose to team up with Rajeevkumar who had worked with him in Chanakayan 28 years back.

Now this film titled as Amma Appa Vilayaattu is said to be a bilingual to be made in Malayalam too. Latest we have on this is that Kamal\s daughter Shruti Haasan would be playing the actor\s daughter in the film. Although there were widespread buzz on this, Kamal himself confirmed about this recently.

The film is said to be a humor based one that would completely be shot in the US. Earlier Shruti was to play Kamal’s daughter’s role in Ramesh Arvind directorial Uttama Villain, but due to date issues, it could not happen.
