Kamal Haasan and Shruti's film to begin from 29th April

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will begin his next film from 29th April. This film will be directed by TK Rajeev Kumar who had earlier worked with Kamal in Chanakyan 26 years ago.

Interestingly, this film will feature Kamal’s daughter Shruti as his daughter in the film. This is the first time that the dad-daughter duo is coming together for a film. Ilayaraja will be scoring music for this flick while Ramya Krishnan also will be on board. This film is said to be a bilingual to be made in Tamil and Malayalam and will be produced by Raaj Kamal Films International.

In an interesting Twitter chat with actor Madhavan, Kamal had mentioned, “Thank you Madhavan. All the best for part 2. Starting mine with Shruti on 29th. Would you be in Chennai by any chance?”. It is said that Kamal Haasan wants this film to be a quickie.
