Kamal Haasan hints at entering politics

Kamal Haasan, who has been vociferous in criticizing the government on social media, hinted that he would enter politics, in a function in Coimbatore yesterday, the 30th August.

It was a wedding reception organized by Thangavel, all-India treasurer of his fans’ association wherein Ulaganayagan said that people should not consider it as just a wedding function but an inauguration function (for politics).

At the airport later in the evening, he also reiterated that his political journey should begin somewhere; it could be in Twitter or in Coimbatore. Urging his fans to continue questioning the government, the Virumandi actor said that it was time for a political change and the struggle for change should continue. To a poser on whether he had the courage to lead, Kamal said, “Are you courageous enough to accept my leadership?”He further told his fans that when the time is right, they should start the journey towards the fort (Fort St. George). And that journey should be in such a way that even a poor man would be able to make it to the fort.
