Kamal Haasan honored with Henri Langloise award

Padmabhushan Kamal Haasan who has been bestowed with numerous national and international awards gets one more feather in his already much decorated cap.


He was recently bestowed with Hanri Langlosie award in the French capital Paris. Sharing the information in his official Twitter page, Ulaganayagan reveals, “Received the Henri Langloise award in Paris . Wish Ananthu sir my guru had been alive to hear this. Heard of Langloise only through him”.


His daughter Shruti Haasan also congratulated her dad with a tweet, “So proud of you appa :) you make us all so happy to be a part of your legacy. I'm certain he's blessing you”. It has to be recalled that Henri Langlois was a legendary French film activist and cinephile who was said to be the pioneer in film preservation and designed the auteur theory in cinema.
