Kamal Haasan joins Twitter

Universal Hero Kamal Haasan joined Twitter the other day on the occasion of Republic day. He can be reached at @iKamalHaasan and his Twitter account was readily verified. His daughter, Shruti Hassan welcomed him to the social media site.

In his first tweet, Kamal posted a video reciting Jana Gana Mana along with a message, "India's freedom struggle remains unique even today. Respecting it is d only way to keep it & set new world standards".
