Kamal Haasan leaves for US to shoot Sabash Naidu

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan left for Los Angeles, US, on Tuesday to start shooting of his upcoming trilingual Sabash Naidu, which also features his daughters Shruti Haasan, Ramya Krishnan, Brammanandam, Saurabh Shukla and others.

“Off to LA with 3 bound scripts. US team waits with sighs of relief. Anymore delay would have ruined all plans. All is well for now,” Kamal tweeted. It was said that the unit had some visa problems but they all have been sorted out.

To be helmed by Rajeev Kumar, the film will be simultaneously shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. While the Telugu and Tamil versions are titled Sabash Naidu, the Hindi version is titled Sabash Kundu. In the film, Shruti will play Kamal’s daughter, while Akshara will assist Rajeev Kumar. Slated to release on December 1 in all the three languages, the film has music by maestro Ilayaraja.
