Kamal Hassen replaces Mohanlal

Kamal Hassen plays the protagonist in Shaji N Karun’s upcoming flick ‘Gadha’. Earlier Mohanlal was roped in to do the role.

Mohanlal backed out of the project and the reasons are not disclosed. Then the film was shelved and Shaji N Karun plans to move on to another project.

It was then that Kamal Hassen gets interested with the script and expressed his interest to be part of the project.

‘Gadha’ is a trilingual movie in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu, which will go on floors within a few months. The movie is set in the backdrop of theater and art.

It is expected that bigger production firms may approach to produce ‘Gadha’ with Kamal Hassen joining the project.
