Kamal's announcement on his birthday

Today, the 7th November marks Kamal Haasan’s birthday and there were widespread speculations about the announcement on his political entry today.

Ulaga Nayagan met the press today in Chennai at GRT Convention Centre and rolled out his plans and ideas for Tamil Nadu’s future. He had launched a new app called the ‘Maiam Whistle’ app, which is expected to serve as a platform for people to register their problems. The app is said to feature a platform called Whistle, an e-vigil tool which will serve as an outlet for whistleblowers and the general public to register any complaints or information about issues in the society. It has been stated to be a ‘citizens platform’.

About starting his political party he said, “The foundation for the party is being laid, and I am taking my time to set it up strongly before launching it officially".
