Kamal's son Januse to direct Dulquer Salman

Januse Muhammed, the son of director Kamal, is making his debut movie with Dulquer Salman in the lead role. The untitled movie is scripted by Januse himself.

The movie is expected to be a love story. Dulquer plays a media person who aims to become a cartoonist. The heroine and other cast are not finalized. Bangalore is the main location.

Januse who has completed his degree from the London Film School has worked as an assistant in various films including Aashiq Abu’s ‘22 Female Kottayam’, Lal Jose’s ‘Ayalum Njanum Thammil’ and Kamal’s ‘Celluloid’, before making his debut as an independent director.

Dulquer’s next releases include Anjali Menon’s ‘Bangalore Days’, Lal Jose’s ‘Vikramadityan’, and ‘Vai Moodi Pesavum’, a bilingual movie in Tamil and Malayalam.
