'Kamboji' shoot progressing

The shooting of the movie ‘Kamboji’ written and directed by National Award winner Vinod Mankara is progressing at Ottappalam.

Vineeth and Lakshmi Gopalaswami do the key roles. Vineeth does a Kathakali artist named Kunjunni and Lakshmi Gopalaswami as a classical dancer named Uma Antharjanam.

Rachana Narayanankkutty, Hareesh Peradi, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Balaji, Kalamandalam Iswaranunni, Padmasree Sivan Nambootiri, Prasad Kannan, Sudeep, Kalaranjini, and Sona Nair also include the cast.

‘Kamboji’ based on a real life story set in the 1970s in Malabar narrates the story of a Kathakali artist and a classical dancer in a heart touching way.

The lyrics by O N V Kurup are composed by M Jayachandran. The cinematography is done by Sambu Sharma. ‘Kamboji’ is produced by Lakshmi M Padmanabhan under the banner of Padmalakshmi Productions.
