'Kanal' started rolling

Mohanlal-M Padmakumar team’s ‘Kanal’ has started rolling. Anoop Menon also does a prominent role along with Mohanlal in ‘Kanal’.

Mohanlal is seen in a different avatar in the movie as John David. Honey Rose is the heroine.

'Kanal' which has the tag line "Every end has an old beginning" is a revenge story that revolves around two people who get entrapped in Dubai during recession and later they get back to Kerala. The film is scripted by S Suresh Babu.

Mumbai, Kochi, Hyderabad and Dubai are the main locations. The movie also sees Athul Kulkarni and Sheelu Abraham in pivotal roles.

'Kanal' is produced by Abraham Mathew under the banner of Abam Movies. The lyrics by Madhu Vasudev are tuned by Ouseppachen. Vinod Illampilly is the cameraman.
