Kaniha in Maniratnam movie

Kaniha is part of the upcoming Maniratnam movie with Dulquer Salman in the lead role. Kaniha made her film debut with ‘Five Star’ (2002) which was produced by Maniratnam. After a long gap, she is now acting in a movie directed by Maniratnam.

She said that she is so elated and excited to be part of a Maniratnam project. Kaniha will be seen in a guest role in this movie.

According to unconfirmed reports, Nitya Menon will play the lead female role in this movie. Prakash Raj does an important role in this film. The makers are not ready to reveal more details regarding the project.

A R Rehman will compose music for this film. There are reports that the film is a remake of the yester year Maniratnam movie ‘Maunaragam’. Cinematographer P C Sreeram is joining Maniratnam again after a gap of 14 years. Their last movie together was ‘Alaipayuthey’.
