Karthi and Nagarjuna start their project

Karthi and Nagarjuna have teamed up for a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu to be directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by PVP films. This is the first time that Karthi will be seen in a bilingual although his films have been dubbed and released in Andhra and Telengana.

The film went on floors yesterday, the 15th of March with a customary Pooja with Karthi’s father Sivakumar starting the proceedings. Shruthi Haasan is the lady lead in the film with veteran actress Jayasudha donning on the role of Karthi’s mom.

The shoot which began in Chennai yesterday will extend for a month which will have combination scenes of Karthi and Jayasudha being completed. Shruthi and Nagarjuna will begin their portions from April 1st. When asked about featuring in a multistarrer, Karthi said that he accepted the film because he liked the script.
