Karthi goes back to the village once again

Muthiah of Kutti Puli fame is busy making Komban with Karthi in the lead. Kutti Puli made waves at the rural centres and brought the director his name and fame. Karthi who is fresh from the success of Pa.Ranjith’s Madras is excited about his rural getup for the film.

In fact Karthi’s debut vehicle was Ameer’s Paruthi Veeran based completely on a rural milieu which fetched Karthi the name of a powerful performer. Now for Komban the actor has completely transformed into a village bloke sporting a handlebar moustache and the appropriate body language.

Komban has Lakshmi Menon pairing with Karthi with Raj Kiran and Kovai Sarala in supporting roles. The film is said to be about a goat merchant Kombiah Pandian who is quite vociferous about whatever happens in his village. The film is also said to deal with the relationship between a father-in-law and son-in-law.
