Karthik and Gautham Karthik in Thiru's next

Gautham Karthik’s latest release was Har Har Mahadevaki which has been met with harsh response. Earlier in the year, he has done two films Ivan Thandhiran and Rangoon which had decent reviews.

The latest announcement has come from producer G Dhananjayan that he has roped in Gautham and also his father Karthick in a film that would be directed by Thiru. On his film, Thiru elaborates, “It is a story revolving around a father and son, and then gets into action mode in the second half. Gautham and Karthik sir play a father and son, who have a friendly relationship, in a middle-class household. Gautham plays a boxer, while Karthik sir plays a government officer. I am trying to recreate the Karthik of the 90s with this character.

Dhananjayan informs that the rest of the cast and crew, including the heroine, will be finalized in the coming days, and that they are planning to start the shoot by the first week of November.
